New Resource Available on the RC Framework Website + Export Controls Training Highlight
Dear Research Administrators,
A new video is now available on the Research Continuity (RC) Framework website to support administrators navigating changes related to federally funded research accounts:
📺 New Video: Monitoring Allocations and Expenses on Multiple Accounts – This resource offers practical guidance on monitoring allocations and expenses across original and FMR accounts using GMAS, GL Budgets, and the New Grants Financial Dashboard. This short case-study walkthrough shows research administrators where to look for allocations, how to spot overspending, and how to reconcile balances across multiple accounts to prevent over‑expenditures.
🔗Access it on the RC Framework Resources Page
We also want to highlight a recently updated training from the Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR):
🎓 An Introduction to Export Control Laws and Regulations (University-Wide) – Originally released in 2019 and updated in collaboration with the OSP Training Team, this 30-minute self-paced course introduces administrators and researchers to export control laws and regulations, and how they may impact University research activities.

We encourage you to explore these resources and share them with your teams.
