Description: This Webex is will focus on analyzing and identifying documentation that provides strong support for costs on sponsored awards. The Webex will review two aspects of providing proper support: the justification for costs and supporting documentation. Through sample comparison, participants will be able to answer; What makes a justification strong? What makes a weak justification? What support is needed to add value? What is appropriate documentation to support the justification?

Notification of Awards (NOA) and Action Memo (AM) set-up and alignment Webinar

Description: This webinar will focus on Notifications of Awards (NOAs) and Action Memos (AMs) in the context of Research Administration. Participants will the review of the Harvard Chart of Accounts and discuss how Notifications of Awards and Actions memos impact account set-up in GMAS. Through case study analysis, participants will be able to, identify key information on Notifications of Award (NOA),  Review and analyze an Action Memo (AM) for accuracy, Define and demonstrate proper account set-up, and Identify policies that incorporate costing strings in the procedures.
