NSF Communication: PI Transfer Request Transition from FastLane to Research.gov and Critical System Deadlines

Please see the message below from NSF:

"Dear Colleagues,

Effective June 26, 2023, the National Science Foundation (NSF) transitioned the Principal Investigator (PI)/Project Director (PD) or co-PI/co-PD Transfer from one organization to another request functionality ("PI Transfer") from FastLane to Research.gov and decommissioned this request in FastLane. Here's what you need to know:

·    All PI Transfer requests will now be prepared and submitted in Research.gov.

HUCTW Bonus Payments

 

In the paycheck dated 6/16/2023, the union bonuses will post as payroll transactions for qualifying HUCTW employees in Object Code 6191 with Earning Code RBN (amount will vary by employee) and object code 6201 with earnings code BUC for $1,400.

The amounts represent allowable costs for the current period on current costing strings.

For sponsored awards, there is no need to adjust these payments to reflect earlier costing or earlier quarters.

Internal Deadline for Proposals Due to Sponsor July 5

Dear colleagues,

Per EVP Meredith Weenick’s June 5 notification that Harvard University will be closed Monday July 3, the internal lock and route deadline for compliance with the University Five business day review policy will be June 26 for proposals due to sponsor July 5. The GMAS Due to Central counter has been updated to reflect this bonus day.
