Updated Harvard International Travel & Reimbursement Guidance

Dear Colleagues,

Please review the latest Harvard International Travel & Reimbursement Guidance. In short:

  • Travelers booking tickets through a Harvard preferred agency (Egencia, Travel Collaborative, BCD Travel, or Milne Travel) are automatically registered with International SOS and the agency receipt will serve as proof of registration. As long as this receipt is attached to the reimbursement, no further documentation is required.

Harvard Sponsored Role is the new term for POIs

Dear Colleagues,

We are writing to make you aware of new terminology for “Person of Interest” (POI). All references to POI have been updated to “Harvard Sponsored Role”. Please note that this term refers to individuals with temporary access to Harvard systems and resources for administrative or scholarly purposes. The term sponsored in this context means the individual with temporary access is supported by an individual at Harvard who approves their access to systems and resources.
