New Self-Paced Course: Export Controls for Administrators
Dear Research Administrators,
A new training course, Export Controls for Administrators (University-wide), is now available. This self-paced course introduces Administrators to key U.S. Export Control and Sanctions regulations that may affect University research, teaching, travel, and international collaborations broadly. Additionally, it provides an overview of what International Collaborations and Activities (ICA) are, and how federal regulatory and sponsor requirements beyond export controls and sanctions may impact international research and other University activities. Finally, it identifies when to consult your Export Control Administrator (ECA) for review, approval, or further guidance.
- Audience: Research Administrators
- NOTE: This course is necessary for all Research Administrators and all other types of Administrators supporting international activities.
- Course Length: 45 minutes
- Pre-Requisite: An Introduction to Export Control Laws & Regulations
- Required if you are requesting access to Visual Compliance for restricted party screening.
- Recommended if you are seeking foundational Export Control knowledge.
