GMAS Transaction Monitoring Training – For Grant Managers (University-wide)

Date/Time/Format: Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 /11:00am- 12:00pm / Live Virtual Training

Description: This session will cover the basics of the GMAS Transaction Monitoring Dashboard and how Grant Managers utilize the module to review and approve flagged transactions.

Ozzy’s OSP Learning Lens (University-wide) formerly Live Onboarding Course for Research Administrators

Date/Time/Format: Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 /2:00pm- 3:00pm / Live Virtual Training

Description: This unique experience will provide all research administrators an opportunity to discuss specific topics in research administration with peers and panelists. Bringing together professionals from diverse fields, this forum focuses on a relevant topic from the pre- and post-award area. Please come prepared to participate in case study discussions and interact with our subject matter experts through a panel discussion. Our panelists will be announced prior to the session in an OSP Blog post.

Audience: Research Administrators

Pre-Requisites: We strongly recommend completing all 13 onboarding courses prior to attending.

Subrecipient Risk Assessments and Monitoring: Case Study Review and Discussion (University-wide)

Date/Time/Format: Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 /11:00am- 12:00pm / Live Virtual Training

Description: This advanced course will focus on three different case studies reviewing the assessment process and risk determination of subrecipient organizations. We will also review expectations of ongoing monitoring based on the assessment review and rating of the subrecipient organization. Attendees must be familiar with subs on federal awards and monthly management of subs for their departments and/or centers and will be assigned the three case studies prior to the session for breakout discussions.

Audience: Research Administrators

Prerequisites: Subrecipient Monitoring web-based, self-paced course.
