Ozzy’s OSP Learning Lens: Allowability in Changing Times (University-wide)
Date/Time/Format: Friday, April 4th, 2025 /1:00pm- 2:15pm / Live Virtual Training on Zoom
Description: With the Uniform Guidance Revision issued in October 2024 and rapidly evolving changes to compliance requirements and regulations, this 1 hour and 15-minute session will:
- Re-focus participants on allowability concepts
- Introduce and share how the UG Revisions are impacting policies
- Walk through scenarios impacted by these changes

Audits: Request and Documentation (University-wide)
Date/Time/Format: Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 /1:00pm- 2:00pm / Live Virtual Training on Zoom
Description: In this session, you will gain knowledge of audit requests and what actions are needed when you are audited. We will cover the workflow of audits, the types of audit requests one
may receive as well as requested documentation to support costs. This will provide foundational knowledge and begin to advance participants understanding in how to approach an audit request.

ECRT Basics (University-wide)
Date/Time/Format: Thursday, April 17th, 2025 /2:00pm- 3:30pm / Live Virtual Training on Zoom
Description: This course will introduce department administrators to effort reporting and the electronic effort reporting and certification system (ecrt), which allows Principal Investigators and Faculty to certify their effort on federally sponsored projects.
*Please note, the first hour of this session will focus on policies and procedures, while the last 30 minutes of the session will be a demo of ecrt itself.
Audience: ecrt Basics training is intended for Grant Managers with responsibility for assisting their faculty during the effort reporting process as well as anyone in the Primary Effort Coordinator role. This is a great opportunity for new ecrt users as well as for existing users who want a refresher.
