NSF Live Webinar - Proposal and Award Policy Update Webinar

Description: The NSF Proposal and Award Policy Update Webinar will provide an overview of significant changes and clarifications to the PAPPG that will take effect on October 4, 2021. The PAPPG Webinar details NSF's proposal preparation and submission guidelines and provides guidance on managing and monitoring the award and administration of grants and cooperative agreements made by the Foundation.

Audience: Research Administrators

Cost Transfer Level II Training

Date/Time/Format: September 29th, 2021 /1:00pm- 2:30pm / Live Virtual Training

Description: This Cost Transfer session will focus on the role of the Cost Transfer Authorized Approver. The class will include a review of Harvard's Cost Transfer Policies and Procedures, the responsibilities of approvers, identifying requirements and best practices for approval, and cost transfer resources. Attendees will participate in group discussions and work through examples and case studies.

Audience: Anyone Responsible for review and approval of cost transfers.

Pre-Requisites: Review the Cost Transfer Policy, Complete the Intro to Cost Transfer online course (Required).

Overview of Sponsored Programs Administration Training

Date/Time/Format: October 21st, 2021 / 10:00am-3:00pm / Live Virtual Training

Description: The Sponsored Projects Overview is the foundation of the University Research Administration Training Team’s (URATT) course offerings. This full day session, offered quarterly, involves facilitation and participants from across the University, covers basic information on Harvard research administration policies, procedures, the award lifecycle, regulatory compliance, and also provides resources and contacts for future use. Workshop attendance is limited to 40.

Intended audience: Staff members with less than one year of experience in research administration at Harvard or anyone who would like a review of or a University-wide perspective on sponsored projects.
