Spring 2021 virtual REACH Foundations 102 Course application will open March 8th

Are you a current Harvard employee with 3-6 years' experience in research administration or a related field? Would you like to learn more about sponsored projects administration at Harvard? If so, apply for our Spring 2021 Virtual REACH Foundations 102 Program

This virtual program is designed towards providing a strong comprehension of grants administration issues from multiple perspectives. Through discussion, critical thinking and active contribution, participants will be able to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the program to their current roles.

Program Highlights:

  • Course will be conducted virtually 
  • Utilizes subject matter experts and case studies to explore complex grants administration issues
  • The program consists of five modules
    • Budget Analysis / Cost Principles / Internal Controls / Audit
    • Subrecipient Monitoring
    • International Collaboration and Effort
    • Award Management / Facilities and Administrative Costs 
    • Sponsored Financial Reporting and Closeout Policy
  • Certificates will be issued to participants who complete the application process and successfully complete all five modules. 
  • Time commitment for each session is approximately 3 hours and will be a mix of virtual, instructor led sessions, pre-work, and post-session assessments.
  • Sessions will be held on Wednesday mornings starting Wednesday, April 28th.
