Cost Transfer Policy Information Session

Description: Does your job require you to manage federal sponsored awards? Do you find yourself wondering if you have all the facts? Are you responsible for understanding the financial components of research? Are you responsible for transferring costs on research projects? If you answered yes, this training opportunity is for you. The Office for Sponsored Programs and our Research Schools are hosting and in-person information session. This session will cover the requirements of cost transfers, and review the updates made to the policy that will go into effect July 1, 2018

The policy information training session is designed to:

  • Inform the participants of Federal guidelines regarding cost transfers;
  • Educate the participants on the Harvard University cost transfer policy with policy updates highlighted;
  • Identify correct and incorrect cost transfer circumstances; and
  • Explain the process of cost transfer processing
The session is designed for all employees involved in managing federal sponsored awards at Harvard University. We encourage you to read the Cost Transfer Policy and take the University on-line Cost Transfer Training prior to attending.
