 

#  Reminder: Upcoming Live Zoom Training – Analyzing Cost Principles

 Dear Research Administrators,

 This is a reminder that the **Analyzing Cost Principles** training session is happening **next Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm** in a live virtual format on Zoom.

 This course incorporates activities and case studies to help participants think through complex questions regarding allowability of costs on federal awards and how non-compliance with cost principles can lead to audit findings. Activities include budget analysis, allowability Q&amp;A, and an audit case study.

 **Learning Objectives:**

- Apply cost principles and knowledge of the regulatory framework and internal controls to ensure responsible spending
- Identify and interpret appropriate policies and guidelines to ensure expenditure compliance
- Anticipate problematic costs to prevent audit findings

 **Audience:** Research Administrators

Please note, this is not a foundational course, and participation is essential to achieving the learning objectives.
