#  OSP Policy Updates

 The Office for Sponsored Programs has released two updated policies:

- [Policy for the Application of Indirect Costs to Sponsored Awards](/policy-application-indirect-costs-sponsored-awards) – The updated policy has been retitled to reflect the inclusion of all sponsor types: federal, non-federal/foundations, industry/commercial, and foreign governments.

- [Interest Income Paid on Non-Federal Sponsored Funds](/interest-income-paid-non-federal-sponsored-funds) – The updated policy includes roles & responsibilities, definitions, clarification on NE vs. NG, and a policy exception process. Additionally, the policy identifies that OSP will make transfers of residual balances and work with the Office of the Controller in specific circumstances.
