#  NIH Salary Cap Update

This time of year, we expect to see NIH announce its new salary cap. At a recent NIH update at the January 2022 meeting of the Federal Demonstration Project, NIH announced the FY 2021 fiscal policies will continue in effect until a federal budget is passed. The current continuing resolution remains in effect until February 18, 2022. Please continue to use the FY 2021 cap and rates from [NOT-OD-21-057](https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-21-057.html) until NIH announces that a new cap is in effect.
