 

#  GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Information Session

 On May 26, 2018, a new law in the European Union (EU) went into effect with the purpose of protecting data privacy. The law, entitled General Data Protection Regulation, is commonly referred to as GDPR.

 Harvard has been preparing for the implementation of this legislation and is offering an overview for the research community of what is covered by this regulation, the impacts, and implementation plans. The session will be presented by Mark Barnes and David Peloquin of Ropes &amp; Gray.

 The University Wide Research Administrators Session will be:
