The Sponsored Expenditures Guidance has been updated, effective January 27, 2022, and is now posted on the OSP Website.

The changes to the guidance were made based on feedback from across the University, a collaborative effort, and we are grateful for the engagement from the school-based research community. Implementation of the New SAM UEI to Replace DUNS in NSF Systems

Effective February 28, 2022, the National Science Foundation (NSF) will begin using the new System for Award Management (SAM) issued Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) in Research.gov and FastLane. This update is being made in accordance with the government-wide transition by April 4, 2022, away from the use of the Dun & Bradstreet issued Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and toward the new SAM UEI as the primary means of entity identification...

NIH Salary Cap Update

This time of year, we expect to see NIH announce its new salary cap. At a recent NIH update at the January 2022 meeting of the Federal Demonstration Project, NIH announced the FY 2021 fiscal policies will continue in effect until a federal budget is passed.
